Aryuvedic Oil Elixir 4oz
I created this oil to add a lite yet very effective moisturizer while also adding strengthening, repair and preventing breakage. This oil also adds elasticity to hair due to the moisture content but does not leave a thick buildup.
IAm oil elixir includes the following ingredients;
Peppermint oil, organic aloe Vera, organic extra virgin Olive oil, organic castor oil, the base as mentioned is organic avocado oil and there’s also a hint of lavender in this oil to give it an invigorating yet subtle scent.
Moisture and strength
Avocado oil is extremely rich in oleic acid and monounsaturated fats, making it one of few oils that can actually penetrate the hair shaft and moisturize your hair, rather than sitting on top and coating your hair. These fats also strengthen the hair shaft and help prevent breakage.
Peppermint oil increases blood circulation and flow to the skin, and scalp which increases new follicle stimulation in healthy hair growth.
Aloe vera contains something called proteolytic enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. It also acts as a great conditioner and leaves your hair all smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff and conditions your hair.
Olive oil moisturizes your hair and reduces scalp irritation, which further reduces dandruff.
Down to a molecular level, castor oil is a long-chained fatty acid. Fatty acids provide essential proteins and nutrients to hair follicles, and prevent hair follicle inflammation. Other benefits of using castor oil include increased gloss or shine of the hair, increased hair shaft flexibility by coating the hair shaft, and providing antimicrobial properties.
Lavender oil is anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and also provides essential oil benefits such as a calming sent to aid in a calming mood. Not to mention it’s a great fragrance!
Use this oil by applying directly to your scalp 2 to 3 times per week before bed and seal with wearing a tied scarf or fitted bonnet to lock in moisture and absorption.
