This picture came across my timeline from a reputable lash product company. Although I love the illustration, this picture is not really applicable depending on your style of lash.
If you wear Volume lashes, you’re not going to get just one single .05, .07 , or .10 lash applied. So you’ll end up with the same weight of a .15 or .20 or greater. Most Russian volume sets consist of 5D .07 which is 5 .07 strands totaling .35. In reality those sets are not healthy for most lashes.
When applying a classic or natural set, you will typically have a .15 or .18 applied. Generally the rule of thumb is to not go beyond double the length of your natural lash nor to exceed more than 3 times the natural lash weight.
✨ Ladies if you’re concerned with the health of your natural lash under your extensions, make sure to ask your lash artist about the weights and options available.
